Day One: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Excursion.
On arrival you will be met by your English Speaking guide with a private Vehicle, transfer to the The Boma Guesthouse in Entebbe for an early lunch. After lunch your guide will transfer you to the Wildlife Educational centre for your chimpanzee excursion briefing and thereafter transfer by speed boat to Ngamba Island on Lake Victoria 45 minutes away. Be sure to get there in time to observe the chimpanzees at Feeding time. Transfer back to the mainland for Dinner and Overnight.
Day Two: Fort Portal and the Semiliki National Park.
Early morning rise and depart for Fort Portal in Western Uganda while driving through traditional Ugandan villages where you will see people at work tending their crops in the picturistique backdrop of lush rolling hills. Arrive in Fort Portal town in time for lunch. Continue to the Semiliki Wildlife reserve for an evening game drive. Retire for Dinner and Overnight.
Day Three: Sempaya Hot Springs and the Semiliki Valley National Park.
Early morning rise, breakfast and visit the male and female Sempaya Hotsprings in the Semiliki Valley National Park. Transfer to Kibaale Forest for lunch. An afternoon crater walk will reward you with picturistique views of this Crater Lake studded area prominent of which is Lake Nyinambuga. Retire for Dinner and overnight.
Day Four: Chimpanzee Tracking and the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
Early morning rise, breakfast and transfer to the Kanyanchu park Headquarters for the pre trek briefing. Commence your chimpanzee trek that will also thrill you with other primate sightings like the Black and white coulubus monkeys, baboons and velvet monkeys. On encounter spend an hour with your chimpanzee family and thereafter return and transfer to Bigodi for picnic lunch. Commence your four and a half kilometer walk around the Bigodi Swamp. Expect to encounter a variety of primate species like the Black and white coulubus monkeys, gray checked mangabeys, Olive Baboons, L’hoest Monkeys, Red tailed monkeys, Red Coulubus monkeys and a variety of Bird species. Return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day Five: Ruwenzori Mountain ranges and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Early morning rise, breakfast and depart the lodge for Fort Portal town with a photo stopover in the town. Proceed to the Equator crossing along the Kasese Mbarara road for another photo stop before visiting the Queen’s Pavilion for the scenic view of Lake George and the Kazinga Channel. Arrive in time for Lunch at the Mweya Peninsula. An evening game drive in the Kasenyi area will guarantee you good sightings of lion, teeming herds of impala, elephants and Cape buffalo. Retire for Dinner and Overnight.
Day Six: Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Kazinga Channel.
After early tea, we depart for another game drive in search of the early risers like the Hyena, Leopard, Lions, Cape buffalo, Elephants, Bush pigs and a variety of other wildlife. Return to the lodge for full breakfast, lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Depart for a launch boat trip on the Kazinga channel joining lakes Edward and George. Expect close encounters of Wallowing buffalos, Nile crocodiles, teeming herds of Elephants, Water Bucks, Fishing villages and a bird point with excellent views of a variety of bird species in one location. Retire for dinner and overnight.
Day Seven: Ishasha and the Tree climbing lions.
Early morning rise, breakfast and depart for Ishasha in the Southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park and home to the tree climbing lions while enjoying sightings of various wildlife along the way. Arrive in time for lunch. An evening game drive in the open savannah plains of Ishasha will reward you with teeming herds of Topis, Uganda kobs, Warthogs, Velvet Monkeys, Forest and Savannah Elephants, Olive Baboons and the ultimate prize of the tree climbing lions resident in this area. Retire for Dinner and Overnight.
Day Eight: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
After Breakfast, embark on another game drive while transferring out of the Queen Elizabeth National park. Continue Southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park arriving in time for lunch. An evening community walk around the lodge will reward you with a cultural tour of a traditional healer and local beer brewing place. Retire for Dinner and Overnight with an arranged campfire.
Day Nine: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
Rise early for breakfast and depart for the morning pre trek Gorilla briefing at the park Headquarters. The return trek to your Gorilla family will last an hour to eight hours with picnic lunch en-route. On encounter, spend an hour of exlhirating moments with these gentle giants. Return to the lodge for relaxation and choose to take a nature walk in the Forest in the afternoon depending on when you return from your Gorilla Trek. Expect to encounter various primate and bird species, waterfalls and unique plant species. Retire for Dinner and Overnight.
Day Ten: Lake Mburo National Park.
Early morning rise, breakfast and transfer through the cultivated rural African settings and Homesteads to Mbarara town for lunch. Continue to Lake Mburo National Park for an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo. The boat ride is a rewarding experience of various bird species, schools of Hippos and Nile Crocodiles. Retire for Dinner and Overnight with an optional night game drive in search of Predators like the Hyena and other nocturnal wildlife.
Day Eleven: Return to Kampala.
After Breakfast, transfer to Kampala while continuing to enjoy sightings of herds of Zebra, Impalas, Cape Buffalo, Water bucks, the Ankole Long horned cattle and African Homesteads. Arrive in time for lunch in Masaka town. Continue to Kampala with another photo stop at the Equator. Retire for Dinner and Overnight.
Day Twelve: Kampala.
On this day, choose to take a brief city tour around Kampala city before you transfer to the Airport for your flight home or transfer directly to the Airport for your flight home
